BIRMINGHAM –The second homicide investigation of the day is underway in Birmingham. The shooting victim has now been identified as Michael Lee.
Police said a 17-year-old male was found dead at a Fairfield apartment complex in the 6700 block of Terrance Court, but they believe he was shot at another location and brought to the apartments.
Police believe the shooting occurred during an exchange of gunfire between two vehicles at Birmingham’s McAlpine Park, Carol Robinson reported.
The teen was then brought to Fairfield in a white Chevrolet, which was stopped by police who recognized the description of the vehicle from the earlier shooting.
No suspects have been charged in the shooting.
Earlier Friday, police said a man was shot in the head and found in the backyard of an Ensley home. There have been no arrests in that shooting.
