From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — Alabama Card Systems, Inc. has moved its headquarters to Trussville after over 20 years in Roebuck. The new headquarters will be located on Edwards Lakes Parkway.
“We are excited to renew our commitment to the Birmingham area and look forward to another 20 years serving the entire state of Alabama,” said Pete Drake, who is president of Alabama Card Systems.
Part of the reason for the relocation is to accommodate the growth of the company and to fulfill the need for space. The new location will also serve as a more convenient spot for customers.
“The relocation stems from Alabama Card Systems’ continued growth over the last few years and allows the company to utilize a larger space and more convenient location for customers and employees,” said a statement by the company. “In addition, the new location will more easily support the products of the future which include expanded access control and security systems that will augment the identification systems that have been the hallmark of Alabama Card’s offering.”
Alabama Card Systems specializes in the sale of ID cards and access control systems.
“The company delivers complete identification solutions for corporations, schools and universities, medical and healthcare organizations, government and financial institutions,” the statement explained. “This encompasses digital photo ID systems, embossed card personalization systems, loyalty or membership card systems, smart card/biometric applications, and positive patient identification.”
The new headquarters is located at 3220 Edwards Lake Parkway in Birmingham.
