CALHOUN COUNTY — A man from Anniston died after his pickup left the roadway and overturned on a road seven miles east of Oxford, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash occurred on March 28 at 11:50 a.m. Kenneth Cross, 25, was driving west on Bernard Couch Drive. His pickup left the roadway and struck a mailbox before it crashed into a tree and overturned. Cross was not wearing a seat belt, ALEA said.
He was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hosptial in Atlanta, Georgia where he was pronounced dead. Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
