SAN BRUNO, CA — A YouTube employee recently tweeted that there is an “active shooter” at YouTube Headquarters in San Bruno, California.
According to the tweet by Vadim Lavrusik, shots were heard and people were seen running. He said that he was barricaded in a room with others. A later tweet by him said that he had been evacuated with others from the building.
CBS News in the San Francisco Bay Area reports that police have conducted lock-down procedures at the building.
ABC News reports that several patients are being treated at a hospital but their conditions are unknown.
The suspect has been reported as a female who wounded three YouTube employees before killing herself.
