BIRMINGHAM — Officers from the Birmingham Police Department are investigating the death of a man who was dropped off at the emergency room of Princeton Hospital with gunshot injuries. The victim has not been identified.
At around 5:05 this morning, officers from the West Precinct were dispatched to Princeton Hospital at 701 Princeton Avenue SW where a man who had been shot was reported. Police learned that he had been shot and was dropped off at the emergency room at Princeton.
Homicide detectives are working to determine where he was shot while the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office are currently working to make an identification.
