Boat explosion in Bahamas kills one American tourist, others injured

GEORGE TOWN, Bahamas – CBS News reports that an American tourist had died, several others injured Saturday morning after the boat they were on caught fire in the Bahamas.
The boating accident occurred off the coast of the town of Barraterre on the island of Exuma.
Shortly after 9 a.m., ten American tourists and two Bahamians were onboard a 40’ chartered tour boat traveling just off Barraterre, when an engine exploded and caused the boat to catch fire.
Ten people on board were injured and taken to the hospital in George Town and a female American tourist had died.
