ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Weather permitting on Monday, July 23, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close lanes at several points on I-59 Northbound and Southbound for paving and clearing operations.
At 7 a.m. ALDOT will close the right lane of I-59 Northbound for Clearing Operations between the Ashville Exit (Milepost 166) and the Etowah County Line (Milepost 175). This lane will be closed for the removal of trees and debris from the clearing operation.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 4 p.m. on Monday. This same lane closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Tuesday, July 24 through Saturday, July 28.
On the same day at 8 a.m., ALDOT will close the right lane of I-59 Southbound for paving operations between the Ashville Exit (Milepost 166) and the St. Clair Springs Exit (Milepost 156).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 7 p.m. on Monday. This same lane closure will be in place from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 24 through Saturday, July 28.
