CLAIR COUNTY – Should the weather permit then on Tuesday, starting at 7 p.m., the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the right 2 lanes of I-20 eastbound for paving operations between the Brompton exit (Milepost 147) and the Eden exit (Milepost 156).
Travel lanes are expected to reopen at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
This same lane closure will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Wednesday night to Saturday morning.
ALDOT requests that motorists consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this construction operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
