SPRINGVILLE — A fatal stabbing is being investigated by the Alabama Department of Corrections, according to WBRC 6.
The victim, 33-year-old Rogarius Bray, was killed in a housing area at the St. Clair Correctional Facility on Thursday night.
The suspect, 42-year-old Brandy Harris, will be charged with first-degree murder.
It is suspected that the murder was the result of an altercation, authorities have not revealed what the altercation was about.
Bray was serving a life sentence in relation to a first-degree robbery from 2003.
Harris is serving a 50-year sentence for a 1997 murder.
