WASHINGTON, DC — The Pentagon is reporting that there are more than 5,100 troops stationed at the border, with Mexico, waiting on the arrival of a caravan of migrants from Central America, according to WIAT.
WIAT is also reporting that the soldiers will serve as a back up for customs and border patrol agents and that the troops will be securing the points of entry, but will not be going on patrols. The majority of the caravan is, at present, in Mexico City.
