BIRMINGHAM — Attorney Ben Crump scheduled a news conference Monday morning, Dec. 3, in Birmingham, announcing the upcoming release of a private autopsy report on Emantic “EJ” Fitgerald Bradford, Jr., a man shot and killed by a police officer responding to gunfire at the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover on Thursday, Nov. 22.

Two others were wounded by gunfire during the incident, which occurred Thanksgiving night.
According to AL.com, Crump said that the family hired a pathologist who would determine how many times Bradford was shot and if his injuries were sustained in the front or the back.
