BIRMINGHAM — Preemie patients at Princeton Baptist Medical Center NICU in Birmingham are getting ready for Christmas. Adorable babies born premature will be heading home with their parents in tiny stockings this season.
The nursing staff snapped photos of the tots in the stockings. Preemie parents spending their first Christmas with their babies in NICU will receive the stockings as keepsakes. The stockings were provided by the hospital’s volunteers who purchased the “My First Christmas” stockings for the babies.
“These beautiful, tiny gifts from above are being cared for by a very talented team of NICU nurses,” said a Princeton spokesperson. “We wish a very Merry Christmas to our NICU babies and their families, as well as those who care for them each and every day.”
