Owner Jonathan David addressed the score and the improvement it represents from the score on Dec. 20.
“When mistakes are made, one must acknowledge his or her errors, ask themselves tough questions as to how these mistakes happened and then create a plan to fix them —not allowing them to happen again,” David said. “We are thankful for the support of our customers and would ask the public to read through the reasons we had a low score as they were mainly nonfood related. With this platform, we would also ask that if there are any non-profit charities who would like to contact us about free donuts to do so. You can message us on our Facebook page.”
As reported in the related story, Daylight Donuts has a history of donating end of the day donuts to local firemen, police, senior centers and non-profit charity organizations.
