Update: Police give all clear after Adamsville Walmart bomb threat

ADAMSVILLE — At around 12:40 p.m. on Sunday, a Facebook post from the Adamsville Police Department revealed that the Adamsville Walmart had been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

The Walmart is located at 2473 Hackworth Road in Adamsville.

Police reported that all personnel and shoppers had been safely evacuated.

At around 2 p.m., Adamsville Police notified the public, via Facebook, that the all clear had been given and that the Walmart was reopened at 2 p.m.
