From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
VESTAVIA HILLS — Samuel Woods III of Vestavia Hills has been charged with six counts of rape dating back to 2015. He is scheduled to stand trial in February, according to court records.
Woods faces charges dating back to 2015, when he was arrested for having sex with a girl who was between the age of 12 and 16 years old in June and September of that year. He was charged for rape again for incidents alleged to have occurred on April 17 and April 20 of 2016.
In 2017, Woods was charged with two more counts of rape involving an underage girl, causing the judge to revoke his bond. He is being held in the Shelby County Jail awaiting trial.
