Co-owner Srinta Saisarai addressed concerns from the county inspection on Jan. 4 and how the issues have been corrected.
“We corrected every things from the first time inspection,” Saisarai said. “For the second inspection, the cook also update his certificate right away.”
Saisarai outlined Thai Basil and Sushi’s commitment to the residents of Trussville.
“Also we would like to apologize Trussville residents,” Saisarai said. “Who warmly welcome us as a new business comer, for lacking experience about the rules and regulations. We will work harder to train our staff and to comply all the rules.”
These steps include an updated set of procedures.
“We also implemented policy and procedure, as well as daily assignments, for our employees to prevent this happening again,” Saisarai said.
Saisarai wanted customers to know that Thai Basil Sushi would have special pricing from Sunday to Thursday.
“Due to this incident and part of our apology to our customers,” Saisarai said, “we are offering free coconut soup with purchase of a dinner meal and half price appetizers from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday to Thursday. We hope to have another chance to treat our customers much more better than before.”
