CLAY — Clay-Chalkville Middle School held a ceremony on Jan. 30 and Jan. 31 to honor a number of students with a Pace Award.
Students that win the Pace Award are all special individuals who are setting the pace for their peers and making the right decisions day by day.
“This recognition is so important for our middle school students, because so many times the students doing the right things are overlooked,” said Clay-Chalkville educator Andrea Wood. “We take for granted how wonderful it is to be around such great young people, and this award shows those students that we see the good they do in our school. We see them when they succeed and we see them when they are doing their best. Their efforts and determination are appreciated and these are the students making a difference in our school.”
