CULLMAN COUNTY – Seven people were arrested in Cullman County due to federal drug indictments on Tuesday.
According to authorities, agents with the Cullman Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with deputies and investigators with the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office, assisted the United States Marshals Service and United States Drug Enforcement Agency in the arrest of seven individuals for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine.
“These indictments and arrests yesterday were a good day in the fight against drug dealers here in Cullman County,” said Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry. “I can tell you during my 20 years in law enforcement, drug dealers do not want to be indicted by the Department of Justice. I would like to thank the CNET Agents, deputies and investigators for not only the job they did yesterday by locating all these defendants again, but also the job they continually (do) here in Cullman County to combat drug dealers. I would also like to thank USA Jay Town and his office for always being accessible and willing to work with us to get drugs and criminals out of Cullman County.”
A United States Federal Grand Jury indicted the following individuals for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine:
Danny Ray Tucker, 51-years-old, Crane Hill
Kristie Michelle Self, 42-years-old, Bremen
Tonya Lynn Brock, 42-years-old, Crane Hill
Daniel Wayne Peek, 33-years-old, Jones Chapel
Michael Shane Durham, 39-years-old, Cullman
Brandon Duane Combs, 33-years-old, Cullman
Samantha Ann Combs, 26-years-old, Cullman
