BIRMINGHAM — Birmingham Police said a man is dead after being shot Wednesday evening.
Officers from the South Precinct were called to 626 Delta Street at 6:57 p.m. on a shooting. They found the victim unresponsive. Birmingham Fire and Rescue transported the victim to UAB, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 44-year-old Derrick Daniels, of Birmingham.
