BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department asked for assistance searching for a robbery suspect in the southwestern part of the city.
Investigators released photos of a man they believe robbed a store clerk at the location at 632 Tuscaloosa Ave. The robbery happened on March 14, at 3:45 p.m.
The suspect handed the clerk a note and demanded various drugs. The clerk complied and the man left the scene. The man could be connected to another similar robbery at the Green Springs Walgreens, according to police.
If there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect, police ask that they contact BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1753 or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. If the tip to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, Crime Stoppers will provide a cash reward.
