From The Trussville Tribune staff reports
TRUSSVILLE — Taco Mama Taco Bar is coming soon to Trussville. The announcement was posted on the chain’s website.
According to Dillan Reed, who works at the Mountain Brook location, the owners are still in the process of finding an exact location. He said they are narrowing it down and have three options. One of those is in the Downtown Entertainment District.
Once the owners pick a location, it will take six to eight months for them to establish the location and open. Reed said the new restaurant would create about 35 jobs.
Taco Mama started in The Crestline Village in Mountain Brook in 2011. Since then, several locations have been opened in metro Birmingham.
The restaurant prides itself in its “tasty tacos and margaritas.”
Taco Mama was named “Best Family-Friendly Restaurant in 2017” by Birmingham Magazine.
