Remlap man struck and killed by vehicle

Ricky Dale Yarbrough, 24, of Remlap was struck and killed by a vehicle in Cleveland, Al this morning, according to the Alabama State Troopers.

The incident took place on US Highway 231 at 5:44 am Monday, according to the report.

Yarbrough was struck by a 1989 Toyota driven by Robert Lance Zimmerman, 29, of Blountsville. Zimmerman was not injured.

The incident continues under investigation by the state troopers.
