Two Clay-Chalkville senior football players received scholarship offers from Murray State today, according to Rivals.com’s Andrew Bone.
Running back Sidney Battle and wide receiver Brian Clark garnered the offers.
Battle this season has rushed 43 times for 313 yards and a team-leading eight touchdowns through six games. He received a scholarship offer from Jacksonville State earlier this year. Last season, Battle rushed 143 times for 681 yards and eight touchdowns in 11 games.

Clark leads the second-ranked Cougars in all receiving categories, hauling in 22 receptions for 308 yards and six touchdowns through six games. No other Clay-Chalkville wideout has more than nine receptions so far this season.
He has returned seven punts for 148 yards and a touchdown. Clark also has returned two kickoffs for 46 yards.
