Pinson RB earns MVP award at football camp

By Gary Lloyd PINSON -- Pinson Valley junior running back Nick Gibson earned top running back honors over the weekend at the Rivals Camp at Hoover High School. Gibson was named the running back MVP. Gibson, the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 5A Back of the Year, rushed 293 times for 2,205 yards and 27 touchdowns as a junior last season.
