Friends of the Trussville Library President Marti Slay presented the library with a check for $3,000 for use in library programs and projects on July 24
.
July 24 was also the closing day of the children’s Summer Reading Program. Nearly 1,500 children, young adults and adults participated in this year’s Summer Reading Program.
Friends of the Library, which has about 100 members, helps support the library’s programs and projects with volunteer help and financial assistance.
