The Trussville school board announced a 5:00 pm meeting this Thursday to name a new principal for Hewitt Trussville High School. The position came open when Dr. Zack Barnes accepted the same position at Homewood High School
. Barnes was the fourth principal at the high school in the last seven years.
According to the meeting announcement, there will be additional personnel recommendations for the board to consider from Dr. Patti Neill, superintendent of Trussville schools.
The announcement from the board is as follows,
“The Trussville City Board of Education will hold a Called Board Meeting on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 5:00 pm in the Board Room of Central Office for the recommendation of a principal for Hewitt-Trussville High School and personnel.”
