The Alabama Department of Education has released the Annual Yearly Progress report for the 2011-12 academic year and it was a mixed bag of results for Clay area schools.
Clay Elementary students continued to lead the group hitting all of the school’s goals for 100 percent in what has become a common occurrence for Dr
. Sharon Gallant and her faculty.
Chalkville Elementary also hit 100% of their goals after falling just short last year.
Clay-Chalkville Middle School made 24 out of 25 goals, falling short in only one category.
Clay-Chalkville High School also narrowly missed hitting 100 percent. The high school made 19 out of 20 goals.
