The Pinson City Council unanimously passed a motion tonight to offer a reward of up to $1,000 for anyone who can offer information leading to the arrest, conviction, or resolution of recent crime cases that occurred on Main Street.
The motion was offered by Councilman Joe Cochran, who is over Public Safety in the city.
“We’ve got some more vandalism on Main Street, as well as break-ins,” Cochran said
. “We’ve had this in the past and had offered rewards for the arrest and conviction, or at least the solving of the crime. We’ve had success with that in the past. Since we’ve had the events recently on Main Street…we’re trying to make sure that our merchants on Main Street feel as inclusive in this community as anyone.”
