Registration for Trussville Parks and Recreation Youth Basketball will begin Oct. 1 online. Registration time continues through Oct
. 28, with two days of in-person registration to be held Oct. 22 and Oct. 25 at the Trussville Civic Center. In-person registration sessions will be held from 6 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
Players ranging in age from 6 to 18 are eligible for play, both boys and girls teams will be accepting player registration.
Registration fee is 5 per child, with off each additional child per family.
Player evaluations will take place at the red gym, inside the former Hewitt-Trussville Junior High building during the last week of October.
The teams are also looking for interested coaches. Coaches must pass an online test in order to qualify for the position.
