. Lovell was arrested Oct. 1 on a felony charge of identity theft.
Trussville Police alleged that Lovell was using false identity while trying to purchase a vehicle at Serra Mazda.
According to Trussville Police Chief Don Sivley, they were notified of the incident by the federal government. “The Secret Service alerted us to him,” Sivley said.
The car dealership is located at 1503 Gadsden Highway in Trussville.
Management at Serra Mazda has currently declined to comment on the situation.
Lovell is being held in the Trussville Jail while investigations continue.
