It’s not too late to register for the first the first Miss Maple Leaf Pageant, to be held in Trussville on Sunday, Oct. 21. Pageant times are 2:00 pm (ages 0-6) & 4:00 pm (ages 7+).
The Miss Maple Leaf pageant is open to anyone, and unlike other community pageants, there is no residency restrictions for contestants to meet in order to participate. Registration is due by Friday, Oct. 12

Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, the first Miss Maple Leaf pageant will take place at the Trussville Civic Center, and proceeds from the pageant will benefit the Miss Trussville Scholarship Pageant and also the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund.
Pageant winners and first alternates will be chosen in several age categories, including two overall winners: one from ages 6 and under and one from ages 7 and up. Winners will also be eligible to ride in the Trussville Christmas parade on Saturday, Dec. 8.
Several side events are included in the pageant entry fee, and there is also an optional photogenic competition that contestants can enter for an additional $10.
