The Alabama State Tropper’s office reported that 51-year-old Amos Holt Jr. of Pinson died after being struck by a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado on Pinson Valley Parkway at approximately 10:40 p.m., according to The Birmingham News.
A second victim, Terron Brown, 24, was was transported to UAB Hospital. Brown’s condition is not known at this time

The driver of the Silverado, 22-year-old Pinson resident Zachary Foster was not injured, according to the article.
Sergeant Jack Self of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said the Alabama State Troopers were investigating the incident on the Pinson Valley Parkway where two pedestrians were struck by a car Saturday night.
Self said the incident took place near Ken’s Hickory Pit Barbecue on Highway 79 (Pinson Valley Parkway).
The Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate the incident.
