The same individual is suspected in the armed robbery and shooting 40 minutes later at Roger’s convenience store.
The victim was in critical condition, according to authorities. Sgt. Jack Self of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said that as of late Saturday night, no arrest had been made in the incident.
