The Hewitt-Trussville Huskies played the Gadsden City Titans in Gadsden for their last game of the season.
The Huskies stared on a good note after winning the toss and the first possession for Hewitt resulted in a punt. Gadsden City took over the ball on the 15 yard line and scored on a short run.
In return, Hewitt had the ball on the second yard line but a fumble resulted in a turnover but the Huskies regained the ball on their own 35 yard line.
The Titans scored bringing the game score to Gadsden City 14, Hewitt 0 with seconds remaining in the first quarter.
During the second quarter, Gadsden City ran a reverse on the fourth down play and scored. With 6:38 remaining in the second quarter the score was Gadsden City 21, Hewitt 0.
The Huskies returned the score with 37 seconds left in the half bringing the score to Hewitt 7, Gadsden City 21.
