The Eastern Women Junior Committee of 50 will host their annual Christmas Home Tour on Sunday, Dec. 9. The festivities will be held from 1-5 p.m.
The home tour will showcase six homes decorated for the holidays in the Trussville area. Driving directions and photos of the homes can be found on the EWJC website

Tickets for the home tour are and can be purchased at the following locations: Nona Ruth’s, Three Eared Rabbit, Southern Magnolia Gifts, Spotted Zebra or from the organization’s website. All proceeds from this year’s event going to benefit local nonprofit Independence Place.
The Independence Place is a faith based non-profit organization located in Trussville. It was created to meet the social and recreational needs of adult individuals with exceptional needs.
The EWJC exists because daughters of the Eastern Women’s Committee of 50 thought that what their mothers did for the community was a great way to get involved and help where help is needed. EWJC brings young women together to serve the needs of eastern area of Birmingham. The women of EWJC seek to give their time and skills as volunteers to make a difference in their community. Each year, the organization selects a charity to sponsor and holds local events to raise money to be given to that charity.
