Business briefs: Subway opens in Trussville

Subway has opened a new location in Trussville.
The new sandwich shop, which opened Jan. 4, is located on Camp Coleman Road in Trussville. The restaurant is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday.
“We’re really excited about being in this area because this is home,” she said.
Dunkin’ Donuts opened on Highway 11 in Trussville last month
. Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe on Highway 11 is expected to open in early March and Moe’s Original Bar B Que on Main Street in Trussville is expected to open in February.
Paul’s Hot Dogs & Grill will celebrate its 20th year in Trussville next Wednesday. Hot dogs were 99 cents there 20 years ago and will be Wednesday as a turn-back-the-clock day of sorts.
“I just want to thank the area for its participation and patronage,” said owner Paul LaRussa.
