A Hewitt-Trussville and Clay-Chalkville guard have been named to the first Future150 Camp All-American Team for 2013.
Hewitt-Trussville junior Jarvis Calhoun and Clay-Chalkville sophomore Hasan Abdullah were named to the team
.
Calhoun was one of 10 players named to the 2014 team. Abdullah was named one of two honorable mention players for the class of 2015 team.
Future150 projects Calhoun as a shooting guard who could play collegiately at the mid major level or higher. The website reports that Calhoun has scholarship offers from UAB, Murray State, Auburn, Samford, South Alabama, Tennessee Tech, Kennesaw State, Radford, Georgia State, Buffalo, Western Carolina, Mercer, North Carolina-Greensboro and Belmont. The 6-foot-1 Calhoun has one year left at Hewitt-Trussville.
Future150 projects Abdullah as a point guard who could play collegiately at the low major to mid major level. The 5-foot-10 Abdullah still has two years left at Clay-Chalkville.
A total of 50 basketball prospects were chosen after holding high school basketball camps in Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Dallas, Nashville and Houston during the fall of 2012.
The states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina and Texas are represented by Future150 All-Americans.
