Area spring football games have been set.
Hewitt-Trussville head football coach Hal Riddle said last week that the Huskies will play their spring game May 10 against Bob Jones in Madison. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m
.
Hewitt-Trussville posted a 4-6 record last season and missed the state playoffs for the first time since the 2006 season.
Clay-Chalkville head football coach Jerry Hood said last week that the Cougars will host Pinson Valley in their spring game May 17. The game will be a “modified scrimmage,” Hood said. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m.

Clay-Chalkville was 12-2 last season, reaching the Class 6A semifinals before losing to eventual state champion Hoover.
Pinson Valley posted an 8-4 record in 2012 and reached the second round of the Class 5A state playoffs before losing to Muscle Shoals.
