Band members saw the Chicago Symphony, a Broadway-style show called “The Million Dollar Quartet,” the Museum of Science and Industry, the Chicago Art Museum, the Sears Tower, the Navy Pier, took a boat tour of Chicago and had a dinner cruise on Lake Michigan with a live DJ and dance floor on board. The band also got to see Wrigley Field and Cloud Gate, the bean sculpture in Millennium Park. The band also visited the Shedd Aquarium and ate at Chicago’s Hard Rock Cafe.
“We ate some great food and had a wonderful time,” Waid said. “It was very cold, and although we got snowed on a little and the temperatures never got out the 30s, we had a wonderful trip.”
