The Friends of the Trussville Public Library spring book sale begins this weekend.
The book sale will be April 5-8 and April 12-14 at the old Trussville community center next to the Trussville Public Library on Parkway Drive. Sale hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Book prices usually range from 50 cents for paperbacks to a few dollars for coffee table volumes or sets. There will also be T-shirts, bookmarks and raffle tickets on gift baskets. A framed painting by Mary Lynne Robbins, a local artist and Friends of the Library co-president, has been submitted to be raffled.

Friends of the Library will also sponsor a plant and gardening sale in May. More information will be available soon

Friends of the Library supports library programs and activities, including summer reading activities, book signings and other programs.
