The Trussville Public Library now has security cameras.
Camera system installation was completed at the Parkway Drive library last month at a cost of $9,700. Fifteen cameras were installed that view the library’s parking areas, both entrances and the interior areas, said Emily Tish, the library’s director.
“The system was installed to provide protection for our staff and library patrons, and to aid in the prevention of vandalism in our parking areas and theft of library materials,” Tish said in an email.

The Trussville Public Library now has 15 security cameras.
