The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce has announced that the Miss City Fest Pageant will be April 27 at 3 p.m. at the Trussville Civic Center.
All who participate will receive a tiara, and winners will be presented at the 33rd Annual Trussville City Fest on May 4. Winners will be eligible to ride in the Trussville Christmas parade this year.
There are no residency restrictions, and anyone can enter. Winners and first and second alternates will be chosen in these categories: Baby Miss (0-2 years), Tiny Miss (3-4 years), Precious Miss (5-6 years), Little Miss (7-9 years), Pre-Teen Miss (10-12 years), Junior Miss (13-15 years) and Senior Miss (16-18 years). Two overall winners — one from ages 9 and under and one from ages 10-18 — will be announced.
Side events including best dress, prettiest hair, prettiest eyes and prettiest smile are included in the pageant entry fee of $70. An optional photogenic competition is an additional $10, and the casual wear competition is an additional $20
.
Proceeds from the pageant will benefit the Miss Trussville Scholarship Pageant and the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund. The deadline for applications is next Friday.
Audience admission is $5.
