The banks of the Cahaba River in Trussville will be the location for the inaugural festival featuring fresh boiled crawfish and live entertainment. The title sponsor of the event is Courtesy Buick GMC and will take place between the hours of 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 11. Attendees will be able to enjoy food and fun for the whole family including live music with local flavor and kid’s activities.
The event will benefit both the Trussville City Schools Foundation and the Hewitt-Trussville Athletic Foundation
. It will take place inside the Trussville Springs community on U.S. 11 in the heart of Trussville.
Live entertainment will feature the headliner Sidecar. Also performing will be Custer and DJ Austin Jones. Activities for the entire family include a children’s area with rides and inflatables, split-the-pot drawing, plenty of door prizes, giveaways and raffles.

Boiled crawfish and shrimp plates will be available for purchase. Hamburgers, hotdogs and other refreshments will also be available. Sponsorships are still available for this community wide fundraiser as well as volunteer opportunities.
