Broadway Stars Camp is collaboration between Chanel Wood Acting and The ACTA Community Theater in Trussville will have a camp beginning June 17.
For two weeks, students will be immersed in a musical theatre program
. Broadway Stars is all about giving students from ages 8 to 18 an introduction to the three main aspects of musical theatre — music, acting and choreography.
Broadway Stars Camp introduces students to Broadway and creates a fondness for the genre. The camp also aims to create a sense of community and camaraderie, with the goal being to establish lasting friendships. The camp culminates with a performance for family and friends.
The camp will last two weeks starting June 17 through June 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
The performance date is June 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
