The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce will host its sixth annual golf tournament on June 24 at Limestone Springs Golf Course in Oneonta.
The shotgun scramble format tournament will begin at 8 a.m.
A $150 per person registration fee or $500 for a foursome will include 18 holes of golf, $70 in merchandise credit to the pro shop at Limestone, lunch, range balls, golf cart, and a goody bag.
A portion of the proceeds from the tournament help to fund the chamber’s scholarship program. This year’s recipients have been announced and, for the first time, the scholarships will be renewable for up to four years with a “B” average. Those who will receive scholarships to the school of their choice are Celia Rudd, DeVante’ Dawson, Jackson Howle and Molly Reeves.

Pictured from the 2012 tournament are celebrity golfer State Sen. Slade Blackwell and second-place team members Billy Bush, Matt Johnson, Steven Davidson and Jimmy Schatz.
