The Trussville City Council on Tuesday approved paving and patching projects totaling more than half a million dollars.
The city council approved Dunn Construction as the company to perform the work, which totals $563,099.55.
Areas that will be paved and patched include, in Tutwiler: Tutwiler Drive, Davis Drive, Anderson Way, Woodward Road, Munger Circle and Powell Place; Honor Keith Road, Liles Lane, Pamela Drive in Westridge, Water Oak Drive intersection, Ashwood Circle, Ashwood Lane and Ashton Avenue.
Paving and patching will begin next week for some of these areas, while others will be later this summer, said City Clerk Lynn Porter.
The money to cover these paving and patching projects comes from the city’s gasoline funds, Porter said.
