The Trussville Planning and Zoning Board last week approved 51 residential lots in two Trussville subdivisions.
The board last Monday approved 44 lots in Stockton Place and seven in Brooke’s Crossing, two subdivisions located off opposite ends of U.S. Highway 11 in Trussville.
The final approval allows a developer to begin selling lots and constructing houses in the subdivisions, said Trussville City Clerk Lynn Porter, a Planning and Zoning Board member.
The houses in Stockton Place are expected to begin being built in August.
The Planning and Zoning Board has final approval on subdivisions, so no Trussville City Council approval is required.
