An unknown white female body was found this afternoon on Mary Taylor Road near Trussville, according to Birmingham Police Department Sgt. Sarafino Levatto.
The cause of death is unknown at this time.
Sgt. Johnny Williams of BPD said no foul play was suspected.
Williams said more information would be available following an examination by the Jefferson County Coroner’s office.
The body is believed to have been found just outside of a building behind the BP gas station on Mary Taylor Road.

Officers responded to a call around 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to authorities.
