A Trussville Boy Scout last week completed his Eagle Scout project.
Keelan Gibb refinished two bleachers and two park benches at the Trussville Racquet Club in the Trussville Sports Complex.
He stripped the rust, primed and painted the bleachers, and had the adults refinish the park benches.
Boys’ Life magazine has asked for a writeup about his project. He was honored with the visits of Boy Scouts of America District Commissioner Aaron Tews and his wife Debbie, and Trussville Parks and Recreation Director David Vinson. The project was recommended by Trussville Mayor Gene Melton.
