Authorities continue to search for a robbery suspect that led police on a chase before crashing in Trussville.
FOX 6 is reporting that the suspect has been identified as Rontese Lavelle Miller, of Birmingham.
According to the report, he is considered armed and dangerous.
Miller, who allegedly robbed a business in Leeds, crashed his vehicle in Trussville and fled on foot. Officers from Trussville, Leeds, Irondale and Birmingham are searching for the suspect.
The area being searched Thursday afternoon was Edwards Lake Road near the interstate and along the Trussville-Birmingham line.
Miller was last seen wearing a gray-plaid shirt with a dark-colored ball cap, FOX 6 said. If you have any information on the case, call 205-699-2581.
Trussville police Lt. Jeff Bridges said police dogs searched the Edwards Lake Road and Interstate 59 area.
